PAR: Patient Advisory Board | B12 Institute Research Foundation

We are very pleased with the advice of the w-PAR: our Patient Advisory Board with a scientific background. They stand us, the B12 Institute Research Foundation and the Erasmus MC-dept. Clinical Chemistry, unpaid from 2019 requested and unsolicited at, when setting up research. They know better than anyone what patients with a B12 deficiency are encountering. We are happy to introduce the members to you:

Members Patients Advisory Board:

Judith van Tinteren-Rill
Specialist in geriatrics, with vitamin B12 deficiency as a result of a admission disorder.

Brigitte van Gennip
Dutchman, information and organisation consultant and mediator. Brigitte joins the advisory board as a grateful parent of 2 children with vitamin B12 deficiency, who have been heard, seen and helped great by the B12 Institute. She hopes that within 5 years the approach and treatment of the B12 Institute will be common in first line and specialist care.

Loraine Thompson
Research associate for clinical trials with a background in Cognitive Neuroscience, Oncology and Clinical Data Management. She was diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency in 2014 and has taken a long road to recovery from that point on. Loraine hopes to improve the treatment and care of patients with B12 deficiency with the advisory board and her input.

Psychologist. Like to think along about research and education regarding vitamin B12 deficiency.
