We are very pleased with the advice of the w-PAR: our Patient Advisory Board with a scientific background. They stand us, the B12 Institute Research Foundation and the Erasmus MC-dept. Update About Brigitte:
After days of hope and fear, the blackest scenario became real in August 2024: Our valued TEAM member of the PAR (patient advisory board) Brigitte van Gennip has been found dead on Samos after a week missing. We wish all relatives strength with their loss. We got to know Brigitte as a tremendously involved member of the PAR who always gives good communication advice. She will be greatly missed!
She was a Dutch speaker, information and organizational consultant, and mediator. Brigitte participated in the Advisory Board as a grateful parent of 2 children with vitamin B12 deficiency, who have been wonderfully heard, seen, and helped by the B12 Institute. She regularly expressed the hope that within 5 years, the B12 Institute’s approach and treatment will be commonplace in primary and secondary care and specialty care.
