We are very pleased with the advice of the w-PAR: our Patient Advisory Board with a scientific background. They stand us, the B12 Institute Research Foundation and the Erasmus MC-dept. Clinical Chemistry, unpaid from 2019 requested and unsolicited at, when setting up research. They know better than anyone what patients with a B12 deficiency are encountering. Specialist in geriatrics, with vitamin B12 deficiency as a result of a admission disorder.
Brigitte van Gennip
Dutchman, information and organisation consultant and mediator. Brigitte joins the advisory board as a grateful parent of 2 children with vitamin B12 deficiency, who have been heard, seen and helped great by the B12 Institute. She hopes that within 5 years the approach and treatment of the B12 Institute will be common in first line and specialist care.
Research associate for clinical trials with a background in Cognitive Neuroscience, Oncology and Clinical Data Management. She was diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency in 2014 and has taken a long road to recovery from that point on. Loraine hopes to improve the treatment and care of patients with B12 deficiency with the advisory board and her input.
